Gonji Gonji is a Korean Wellbeing restaurant in I-dong. You order a rice based dish and get A LOT of side dishes with it. You can get either plain rice or with something else, we ordered Korean Thistle (gondeurae) with our rice. The rice comes with various mushrooms and vegetables to make bibimbap. There are extras on the menu too, such as grilled mackerel, and various kinds of pancake.
The banchan is great, the japchae is particularly good. The rest of the banchan is pretty standard for a Korean restaurant, but it’s very good quality. We also got a mackerel to share, it is a little difficult to de-bone with chopsticks is you are not used to it but it worth it, because it was delicious.
The best thing about this place is that is incredibly cheap for the quantity and quality of food. You get a really filling meal for 12000 for two people. Highly recommended for a nice lunch or dinner, but maybe not a special occasion.
